Favourite art is Gold - it's like Red, but better. Runner ups are Platinum Lucas/Kouki and RS Brendan/Yuuki.
Least favourite is DP Lucas/Kouki. Least favourite girl is probably DP Dawn/Hikari. With FRLG, I think I'm just bitter that they're not the originals.

I love the remake of the FRLG characters, especially since both Red and Green still retained smug/cockiness attitudes (Leaf is just, there. But her hat practically carries her entire outfit). In Platinum, I really adore the winter coats the characters are wearing... Or maybe I'm a sucker for Autumn and Winter clothing in general. :P

Kotone is my favorite character, but her official art makes her look terrible. Fan depictions are much better, pic related.

RS wins namely because of May. Am liking the BW designs too. I think the DP/Pt designs are stupid and became even more stupid in Pt.

It seems like most of really like Platinum, which is pretty cool. I didn't warm up to their outfits for a while. But, once I made my Lucas cosplay, I really started to like them =] Plus winter is my favourite season.

I really, REALLY love the new designs for Gold and Silver. "Lyra" is another story, but anyway. I'm probably mildly biased since I've actually made cosplayed these designs, too.

I'm also super excited about the new trainer designs. Black's design is a little "meh", but I think White's design is really cute. I like that they're older, too.

I prefer the DP designs to the Platinum designs based purely on the face that I'm a sucker for scarves, and they were longer/more flowy in the DP design. That, and I just really didn't like Lucas's winter design as much, though I like Barry's more...

The FRLG designs were just great, plain and simple.

RSE I'm lumping together, because I like Brendan's Emerald design more than his RS design, but I prefer May's RS design.

GSC and RBY are just kind of tied. The art wasn't as good back then (in my opinion), and I found the anatomy to be strangely off (tiny feet, overly long arms, etc.). GSC gets a slight edge though, because I still really, really like Kris's design.

Lyra's design made baby Jesus cry.
