I hate floods ¬¬. Few towns near me got seriously flooded (Cockermouth and Workington if you've not heard about it) and they were all over the news. This happened last night. Both places are about 10 miles away. 6-7ft high floods at times. A policeman died as a SOLID STONE BRIDGE collapsed due to a rivers pressure on it. I was on that bridge yesterday.

Luckily, the only damage I took was lack of internet from this morning to now.

ITT: Fairly major problems which happened close to you and made you think you were lucky to notbe affected.

Pic related, the bridge this morning.

I, along with quite a few other people here I'd guess, live in California. I doubt I need to even say it, but...

California's San Andreas used Earthquake!
It's super effective!

Haha cockermouth.
Bad natural things don't really happen in Michigan. It snows above average heights in the upper peninsula, in the winter, because they're right next to the huge lake. That's as close as I'll get.
There's plenty of crime in Detroit and stuff, though. I guess our recurring unnatural disaster is people.

Eh, Georgia isn't too active, other than the occasional tornadoes that drift over from Alabama. But we did have some flooding this year; an Elementary School was flooded to the roofs.
