How does your computer desk look?
I'm right next to the door :>
lol angled shots
Dear god my desk is messy.
Holy shit! They're invading and attacking my computer!
>>653 >>658 Where is that desktop pic? I would like to have it
>>659
hell yeah son hell yeah
>>660 ty zippie :]
Oh man this desk is a fucking mess.
>>670 I laughed at the Gateway CD binder thing. Their stores were (are?) obsessed with cows.
I don't have a desk because I have a laptop...so my desk is my lap? inb4 penis pics.
>>671 Yeah we've had that thing for ages. I think we got our first Gateway in 2000, so 10 years now. We use it to store like the MS Works Suite CD's.
There's my magical little corner. That good ol' Chair is quite a soldier, several pieces of it have broken but it still holds up my rearside. The day that chair breaks while I'm in IRC is imminent.
>>691 i would lol quite hard
>>691 Dude, your chair looks *just* like my old one. That broke.
>>691 Dear Stu: Please get a new chair. A poor desktop setup is forgivable, but your internet experiences (or post internet aftermath) must be miserable. Your internet time should be a sort of vacation. Anyway, hell yeah Poliwhirl. And the subtle video game bits on the right are intriguing. Let's make a VG setup thread!
>>694 I will take your request into consideration. ;)
>>699 Good man.
>>661 Forgot to mention how awesome you were for having the Book of Clow in there.
I now have a laptop, so it's time for an update! This is in my room now, and as you can see, my desk in here is also a mess.
>>916 Why thank you Red. The "R" you see is a team rocket dog tag that my friend got me at a local game shop. Also you'll notice a copy of the Oregon Trail 3rd Edition on the floor there. I don't think it works on windows 7 though, which is a shame.
I don't... really have a desk to speak of.
new place, new desk. update time. also terrible picture because i no longer have that awesome camera i used last time. >>1001 on your screen, is that feet or a man's ass?
>>1534 It looks like both.
Old picture is old. Not much has changed though.
inb4 "retrotellylol" :(
This is where the magic happens. Also, i need a worthwhile camera, my iPhone just doesn't cut it :I
Uploaded Via My DSi, it's my desk space! pretty lame I know, BUT. All my inner dealings must be kept secret and under my desk
>>1666 Holy shit you guys cleaned it. I can actually see the top of the desk now!
Crappy camera, but this is my desk.
And my desktop, seeing as I have stuff covering it in my other pic
what about the specs on these awesome power houses? Here's Mine
>>1692 lol windows scores my score is from my data disk transfer and its 1.6 points lower than the closest one
Processor 6.7 Memory 5.9 Graphics 4.9 gaminggfx 6.0 HDD 5.6 So really, for game's it's pretty much a 5.6-5.9 silly windows! :3
where the hell does windows get off rating my system and what is it even based on? It's just confusing
New house, new computer, and now a new picture! And the Windows Experience Index numbers are as follows: Processor: 7.6 Memory: 7.9 Graphics: 7.8 Gaming graphics: 7.8 Primary hard disk: 5.9 u jelly?
>>1696 >>1709 >>1822 The Windows Experience Index really is a useless tool for determining system performance. Not only have certain drivers and hardware been known to "unfairly enhance" the score (since the results are just stored in a text file), the numbers themselves are almost entirely arbitrary. If my memory score is 3.1, does that mean I need more RAM or faster RAM to upgrade my score? Not to mention the fact that every decent mechanical hard drive scores 5.9 whether it be a 40GB 5200rpm 2MB cache disk or a 2.5TB 7200rpm 64MB cache powerhouse. Even a supercomputer with 4 of those latter drives IN RAID 0 will score 5.9 overall. It's alright for at-a-glance e-peen checking but it's entirely useless for any sort of real spec comparison.
>>1824 I hear you will get a better hard drive number if you have a Solid-state drive though.
