Do you have to have a DSi to play this game?

I've also never heard of it. I haven't been paying a lot of attention to DS games lately.

Well it's DSiWare so, yeah, the DSi is required. It's been out for a while already, I just felt like posting this today since I've been playing it a lot lately.

Damn me not having a DSi ;_;

This track is easily the most awesome rendition of Death Mountain ever.

This is one of those levels you just have to play to appreciate: firstly, there's the music, which I personally didn't fully recognize until about 1:30 which happened to be about the same time it became clear that the level's sprite was Toad.

Oh, and as you're playing (I missed this the first time through) the pieces falling down are actually letters, which spell out the most frustrating of messages for a young NES-era gamer to read after struggling to beat the castle: "THANK YOU MARIO! BUT OUR PRINCESS IS IN ANOTHER CASTLE!"

Dammit, just typing that phrase out made the six-year-old Mario gamer inside me shiver...

And here's where the whole thing comes together in perhaps the most epic four minutes of chiptune you've ever heard.
