This Saturday, beginning at 10 A.M., Cartoon Network heads to the Johto Region with six exciting episodes from Pokémon Season 3! Follow Ash, Brock, and Misty as they discover amazing Pokémon and participate in breathtaking battles, as well as square off against the nefarious Team Rocket!

Then, immediately following the Pokémon marathon, Cartoon Network is showing the second Pokémon movie, Pokémon: The Movie 2000 at 1 P.M. Go on an incredible adventure through the Orange Islands to find the Legendary Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres—and, finally, the extraordinary Pokémon Lugia!

This fall, the Diamond and Pearl arc of the anime is set to come to a close. A new season, coinciding with the release of Black/White versions is slated to air in its slot.

This news post claims to say that Ash and Pikachu are to be replaced, and an entirely new cast is set to star in this new region.

If this is to be true, this will be a drastic change. A change for better or worse? Who can say yet?

Maybe showing off Red killing people after he beats them in battles in backgrounds. :P Trainers of other classes too! And the character could have a different target rather than beating the Pokemon League.

Origins of Joey would be a very interesting approach, though I feel that Joey's Rattata would be too controversial... There would be too much censorship on the dub, I guess. :|
