Ash should borrow Misty's house, or something. I'd accept his borrowing of her new bike, if necessary. Infact he should go home for a short vacation, bike up to Viridian with Misty's bike, get caught in a storm, and have his level 100 Pikachu Thunder all those spearows, thereby defeating AND capturing all of them like he said he would.
Then he'd have a Spearow/Fearow army, and invade ... the Unknown Dungeon (finally). There he meets Red, and Red kills him. Not metaphorically, but Red's starter trio literally Final Smashes Ash's ass into oblivion. Show ends, Pokémon 2.0 begins. Kenta is our new hero, and we follow from his beginnings in New Bark. Heck, I'd love to see a few episodes detailing Kenta's past up until that point.
