Since Mario already has an entire kart racing franchise which is direct competition for this game, I'm guessing we won't see any first-party Nintendo cameos on the Wii. Perhaps a third-party Nintendo racer or two, but I doubt Nintendo would allow Sega to use first (or even second) party franchise characters in a competing game.

That aside, am I the only one who thinks Sonic racing in a car is just a *bit* retarded-sounding? According to canon he's capable of RUNNING at faster than Mach 1, so how is riding a car doing anything but slowing him down? Is he doing it to be fair to the other racers? Maybe we'll get Sonic-on-foot as an unlockable "car" which just rips through the tracks at blinding speed...

As for Banjo+Kazooie aging, that's BS because Rare isn't Rare any more and you can't accept anything past Pilot as a Rare 'Banjo' game.
