Who cares if it's a rumour? Virtual Boy 2 will eventually happen, though it might not be called Virtual Boy, and it might not be made by Nintendo first. And it would definitely have a colour screen.
The Virtual Boy, as it was released, was an unfinished product - it was rushed to retail, adding to it's the failure.

Speaking of Wii perhipherals - R.O.B. should also happen. And a Powerglove with built-in Wiimote+Motion Plus. If not Wii, then Wii2.

On the other hand, with handhelds becoming better and more accessable, would thre really be a viable place for it in the market? I think it would be successful in Japan, but elsewhere, it just won't get the attention. The Wii peripheral theory though? I like it. make it happen Nintendo.
