I'm also really liking these images. It's very strange to see the game come to life like that. What were they for / from? Seeing the zoo in Brawl was also very weird. I'm actually very fond of the original MOTHER.
Also, the order of the melodies could be argued over.

I got to the swamp and stopped playing. I think because I got to finally borrow the actual EB cart, so naturally I gave up everything else and beat that within like 2 weeks. I need to suck it up and trudge through that swamp. Those mooks are freaking ridiculous in power.

I'm not sure if this is the one, but I remember reading on the SMN forums that they were going to make it a sort of demo, where you could walk around and encounter enemies.

I enjoyed it. The changes from the story/canon glare at me, but I got past them because of the awesome presentation, art, and style. And music.
I don't remember Poo coming in like that, though. Does Poo come in at a certain time? Because he swooped in when I was in Deep Darkness, about to die. It was actually epic. I was so happy.

Have you guys seen EB Saga, then? And all the Ninten Speaks?

I have owned EB/M2 since launch and have played it through many many times. Usually play it once a year or so. Mother 3 have beat once now, using a flashcart+translation. I've got a repro cart of Mother (well, the unreleased english "earthbound zero") and I am pretty close to the end of the game but I need to grind more before I'll be able to beat it.

I'm still playing through Mother 3. I think I'm on the 2nd scene of Chapter 7.
As for the other two, I've played through Earthbound a few times, and I'm in the middle of a replay now. I've never beat Mother, but I've gotten 4 melodies.

I decided that I wanted to get PSI Rockin' before Starman Junior. But, without equipping the cracked bat. I don't even know, why I'm doing this, man. It's taking so long (almost there!) ^^;
After this, I'm going to play the rest normally. Doing special stuff for EBFGP is time-cost prohibitive. I'll do cool stuff on my other file. Like get the T-Rex Bat in Winters.

Hm... There's something about you, Mr. Red. It's a good something, though. And no, I don't really feel like elaborating on that. Either way, I have a small cache of Mother 2 pics, and I'd like to share them.

I found Mother 2 to be extraordinarily annoying at first. You do what you think is a great deal of training, you get pumped that you can eliminate Pogo and Skate Punks with no trouble... Then you go behind the arcade and some guy in a pink suit knifes you to death. Hoo-rah.

What? I actually beat him? Cool! And I- oh, what's this? A battle robot? Wonderful...

But, after some initial suffering, you eventually get through it, and you can finally take in just how engrossing the whole experience is.

A Happy-Happy experience.

From something as ordinary as a desert...

... to something as fantastic as Moonside.

The further in you get, the more interesting it becomes.

And in my opinion...

... The end boss has to be one of the best fights I've ever fought. And I've played many a game in my day.

Also, today was the first time I've tried getting the T-Rex bat before you reunite Jeff with the team. It took me somewhere around two hours to get enough cash.

I've seen The Losar around the forums, but I haven't attached an identity to them.
I only got to watch a little of the broadcast because I had to go to work =[

A bunch of people did the T-Rex Bat. It doesn't seem that hard to me. Getting all the items in Winters? Now THAT's a challenge.

But yeah - I totally got it too. In a future run I want to get all the items in Winters. I would feel very epic / very sick of Winters =P
