MGA is truly awesome, as is that pic.

Interestingly, I had just heard about and started B+ when I came to see this thread again, and... Holy shit. AWESOME. The charater balance seems more like balance and less like Sakurai saying "let's make my games' characters fuckwin, everyone else can eat a dick."
The best thing though is that it has allowed me to pick up different characters and be proficient. I never would have dreamed of using someone like Weegee, but now I'm passable with over half the ensemble. One downside is that my Pika is nowhere near as good anyomre. I think it has to do with jump momentum ruining my spacing for thunderjumps.
Also, Q&A time (assume Brawl as B+):
• Who is your favorite character to use?
Brawl: Lucario. Hands down, although TL is a close second now.
Melee: Young Link. I liked link in S64, and YL played most like him to me. Plus, he didn't have a taunt that made you question what he was doing with the male Kokiri at night.
Smash64: Link. I liked the versatility your items gave you, and for me it more than made up for his shortcomings, like how easy he was to edgeguard against.
• Who is your least favorite character to use?
Brawl: I can't seem to adjust to the fact that Marth has no easy combo moves. I'm not *bad* with him, but I can feel that I'm not playing him right, and can't seem to fix it.
Melee: See Brawl.
Smash 64: Ness. If only because of Saffron City.
• Who is your least favorite character to fight against?
Brawl: Pit. Most of my mains are projectile heavy. Any character with a reflector is already on my bad side. A reflector that doubles as an impenetrable advancing attack? Fuck you, Pit.
Melee: Not so much a character as a specific person. A friend of mine is absolutely rapetastic with Melee, and no matter who I choose, Nul always manages to pull off the win. Since Nul tends to play Yoshi, I guess I'll go with that.
Smash 64: I can't say I had anyone I loathed to face off against, but I certainly didn't look forward to fighting against a Pika. Spammy neutral-B made advances tough on me, and I could never get it right.
• Do you prefer stock or timed matches (or others)?
Brawl: Actually, I do a combination of both: four stock with a seven minute time limit (you'd be surprised how often this actually comes down to Sudden Death)
Melee: three stock
Smash 64: Unlimited time matches just to have fun all night long.
• Do you typically fight with items?
Brawl: No, not except for (rarely) smash balls, and only then for shits and giggles, never for real play.
Melee: Nope.
Smash 64: Fuck yes. For me, S64 was more about chaos and havoc with a whole group of people, so items helped add to it.
• Assuming use of a Gamecube controller, do you make heavy use of the C-stick?
Brawl: Not so much. My friend (Nul again) has actaully shown me how setting your C-stick to specials instead lets you do some pretty nasty (and unexpected) things with Yoshi's egg-throw however. Mostly if I C-stick, its for easy use of odd aerials, like upwards-moving dairs back-moving fairs, etc.
Melee: C-STICK IS MY GOD
Smash 64: What is this C-stick you speak of?
• What is your favorite (Nintendo designed) level?
Brawl: I love the new Stadium. The updraft section especially. My TL rapes there, without a question.
Melee: Murder me for it, but I actually like Temple.
Smash 64: Two words: Hyrule Castle.
• What is your least favorite level?
Brawl: New Pork City, simply because I always end up as the unlucky sap who ended up pratfalling right when the Chimera shows up. ;_;
Melee: Big Blue. The moving floor. I hates it.
Smash 64: I was never too fond of how unseemly difficult it was to get a KO on Peach's Castle stage what with the bumper above, the sliders on the side, and that huge oscillating platform below.
• If you could add any one part/feature to the level editor, what would it be?
The ability to make grounded levels. Platforms are fine, but I'd kill to be able to make a fully-grounded level without the ability to go beneath it.
• What is your favorite song from the franchise?
Smashing Live, Pokémon Medley. The Smashing Live Zelda track comes in a close second.
• Which character(s) do you want to get good with?
Ness. I'm getting better and can really see his strengths, but I still have a tough time using his recovery.
• What are your favorite Taunts from the series?
I really like S64's Link taunt, and was overjoyed to see it back, even if I rarely end up using him. Other than that, call me a massive faggot, but any of Lucario's, simply because he's a badass.
• What are your feelings on slipping?
The no tripping code is the single best thing that Ocarina has done for Brawl. Moves that induce trips, such as (obviously) Diddy's banana or (less obviously) Lucario's Force Palm are fine, but random tripping is (or was, more like) a load of shit.
Heh, that's all for me now; see ya'll later!
